Bournville Model Yacht & Power Boat Club (MYPB) is one of the oldest model boat clubs in the country, established approximately eighty years ago in Row Heath park.   It now uses the yachting pool on Valley Parkway which was purpose built in the 1932-33 by unemployed men.

The club has 100 members (65 yachts and 35 power boats) including a national junior champion!

Model Yachts: meet and sail on Sunday mornings.  Many members sail the traditional 'vane controlled' yachts but most are radio controlled.   The class sizes range from one metre to one and a half metres long.

Power Boats: meet and sail on Sunday afternoon from 2pm, throughout the year. These boats are radio controlled; Tug Towing, Scale League Sailing and Jet Ski Racing - this looks lot's of fun!.
