TENANT PARTICIPATION OFFICER
Salary: Circa £30,000
A vacancy has arisen in the Housing department for a Tenant Participation Officer based at the Bournville Area Office.
The successful applicant will provide leadership and strategic direction on Tenant Participation and policy work within Bournville Village Trusts Estates.
You will be a key member of our Senior Management Team and your role will be to develop the Trusts policy on tenant participation in accordance with Government thinking and to ensure that we are compliant with regulatory requirements.
You will be required to have a detailed knowledge of the needs and objectives of tenant involvement and show at least 2 years experience in a similar, supervisory role. The Tenant Project Funding Assessment panel will require your support and you will oversee the funding of the work of the Tenant Association Committees and reporting to our Director of Housing your excellent communication and presentation skills will be essential.

Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum plus car allowance
A vacancy has arisen in the Bournville Propertycare Services department for a General Manager to join our forward thinking organisation that prides itself on really making a difference.
You will be required to demonstrate experience in managing a multi trade directly employed workforce and specialist subcontractors. Knowledge of maintenance requirements in the social housing sector would be essential as will the managing of a large budget and production of Trading Accounts. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that the current high levels of client satisfaction are maintained.
The successful candidate will have Membership of (or will be working towards) a professional body such as CIOB, RICS, CIH and a HNC or equivalent in Building Studies or housing/maintenance related course.
You will have had significant experience of working in housing/ technical/ property services on the contractor side with proven managerial experience in building or housing maintenance. Experience is essential in managing a DLO or contractor service, managing large budgets and a responsive repairs service.
We are looking for a manager with strong and effective leaderships skills with a strong commitment to customer care and resident involvement.
